neon works great! it's a little older but my system is as well, so it works perfectly fine. it still receives updates, so initial release shouldn't matter, right?

i just installed it, i haven't updated python in ages. my mistake, sorry!

ah, okay. do you have a link to where you got some of them? maybe i i can get them at a higher volume.

where are you getting your samples from?

also, some of these samples are barely audible while others are extremely loud, even from the same year! is this just how some drives are? the fujitsu in particular is basically impossible to hear.

that worked, thanks.

is linux support included here?

i get this error trying to run it. any idea why?

i get this error on linux when trying to launch it. any idea why?

i have python 3 installed and on PATH(as far as i'm aware). do you have any idea what's gone wrong?

(1 edit)

there is no error to report, it just doesn't open the program at all.

0.0.6 works just fine.

i'll post the log from 0.0.5 when i get home, sorry for the delay.

0.0.3 works just fine, and even works with the files i got with 0.0.5, but when i run 0.0.5 it just doesn't launch at all. any ideas?
win10.

0.0.4 also doesn't.

any idea why? it's set as my primary monitor and everything. setting it as secondary doesn't help either.

i mean, three bars wasn't so bad when i played before(when only Chill Penguin was available). it takes practice but it's doable and i'm objectively bad at these games. keep practicing!

fem protagonists are good and we need more of them

a megami tensei game with a girl as the protagonist? i have to play it for that alone.

interesting! i think allowing us to rebind the direction buttons as well would fix it, since i was able to rebind all of the face buttons. i know the game is built for an xbox or playstation controller, but something about old-style megami tensei with a super famicom controller feels *right*. all of my other controllers work just fine, like i said! this one is kinda weird in other games too, though, so it's probably something with how it's built.

updating this: the controller is detected, but the inputs are all weird. up and down do nothing, left and right go up and down, and the face buttons are all out of order. any idea why?

thanks for the speedy reply! i'll definitely give it a shot, but i think it was my only controller. odd that this cheap 5 dollar famicom bootleg works though. i've cleared the demo twice, and it's really fun! i really like how the areas with ailments always have the cure for that ailment nearby, so it never feels unfair. i'm super super excited for the next update!

fantastic game! my only issue so far is the lack of MP recovery items, though i assume that was done as a balancing thing.

function wise, my USB super famicom controller just.., isn't detected by the game. it works fine on most other games, and my normal two button Famicom controller works fine! it's just the six button super famicom controller that doesn't work. it's so odd!

L take.

this game is very much like the super famicom SMTs, moreso than nocturne. i much prefer those, personally.

super fun so far, but spark mandrill's stage is suuuuper frustrating. nice change of pace from the overused chill penguin in X fangame demos though, i will say

yeah, on the itch launcher. i haven't tried in browser yet.

i'm having an issue where the game isn't fully loading, the bar gets nearly loaded and then... doesn't progress beyond that? on the downloaded version anyway.

maybe it's just me, but the resolution options seems completely stuck at 1280x720. is this normal?

there hasn't been an announcement yet so I assume the answer is no

no problem! I was just curious, but I'm happy that an English version is on the way!

(1 edit)

the description and title of the game on the release page are both in english, but the game itself isn't.  did I perhaps get a non-english version by any chance?
